apologies whilst i restructure my DW journal -- it might take awhile and most of the music stuff will go,
but i'm hoping that when i'm done the whole thing will be leaner and more concise.

Date: 2010-03-08 05:10 pm (UTC)Cross-posting is something i really want to start doing, but i'm not sure how??? i've been importing content from lj to here - now i need to learn how to reverse the process. :))

Date: 2010-03-08 05:23 pm (UTC)You go to Account settings and you can add journals under 'other sites.' I love dreamwidth and have a seed account, so I can crosspost to five. Then, when you post you have checkboxes at teh bottom that you simply tick to crosspost to the other journal.
I forgot to say that I have a lot of Snape stories here from my Snape journal, which is called 'janus' here and at insanejournal and verus_janus on livejournal. I post my friends' Harry Potter stories sometimes as well (with their permission,) but mine are by 'janus.'
I am not happy with LJ for a number of reasons and I am very impressed with dreamwidth's integrity, hard work and respect. I don't have many friends here, but it is my journal of choice. I'm so glad you have come.
Also, little sevvie in the icon has his own journal, where we've been talking about magic and our real adventures a little more. http://s-snapey.insanejournal.com

Date: 2010-03-08 05:40 pm (UTC)i agree about lj - but i hate to turn my back on the friends i've made there, cross-posting is a wonderful compromise.
i'll check out your other journals with pleasure :))
thanks again!

Date: 2010-03-08 05:47 pm (UTC)No need to look at the other journals. This is the hub and everything is here. Except for wee Snapey with the link. He was a project for a craft/art/writing fest on IJ, so that is where his journal needed to be. Someday I will import it too.
