i think Marina and Roxy might appreciate this;
today i was helping a friend learn their lines for Henry iV pt2 in which they're playing the king.
we needed a handy space and so i purloined an empty market stall for the purpose.
what put the funny in the fun (or vice versa) was that our table was between two other stallholders and when they went to lunch i was obliged to interrupt the reading every so often and go sell something!
this tomfoolery reached a high-point just as the king was expiring (so tragic) and in epic style (my advise being; study from the best, watch king kong - no finer exit).
alas, the poor king found the court to be somewhat fickle - and not even the offer of a crown could prevent his wayward son from flogging a reggae LP to a girl with purple dreadlocks and blind-as specs.
i have no shame.
also, and to some sundry and diverse others; two mugs, two other records and some misc. what-nots.
i'm thinking, next time i'll put my hat on the table and we might get tips!
yea verily one and all! :)
