More strangeness

As I stand here, caretaker (so to speak) of the warehouse de Wytchcroft (or perhaps that should be maison de martinet) I am surprised to find, among the guitar strings and cigarette stubs, glitter and pirate toys,
that there are some notes here towards a record of the supernatural. Yes, it seems the fellow is a chap after my own heart (in some respects).
To tell it plainly; Some dozen or so sheets of foolscap documenting an affair that I shall dub ‘The Disappearing Office’. There is a note also. The language is poor so I should perhaps put it best in my own words:
It may be that this is indeed a paranormal happenstance well known throughout the world, indeed a myth that is built upon the strange seed of truth, because I am surprised to find at least two films that contain the same notion but in a fictional context, So Long at the Fair and Moonraker.
