My bestest supporting statement for my CV began 'I am an unstable, work-shy depressive' and it just got better from there. I never used it, it was just a little pointless rebellion. (Might have been going for temping jobs then. 'Did you do any typing with your History degree?')

My colleagues drive me mental because they brainwash the little 'uns with 'a sentence is something that starts with a capital letter and a full stop'. No it f*&%ing well isn't! I love the way kids shine a glaring light on crap teaching by omitting punctuation well into secondary school and beyond...

Educatational projects on neuroscience! - how absolutely fascinatating! There is a lady who works out of the Institute of Education - her actual name is Doctor Doctor (Give Me a Pill being the inevitable response) - and her job is to filter all the clever research for the unwilling teaching profession. I wish I had a connection to her brain. There is so much I don't understand about my job and I wish I did. I'll have worked it out by the time I'm old and then I'll retire, taking all my mental riches with me.
