Ignore whoever it is, if that's all they said. That sounds like a flame, rather than concrit, which just makes the person an arsehole. If they'd offered real concrit, then I'd take more notice and listen to their advice. Personally, I've skimmed the fic and it doesn't seem bad to me at all, not that I'm the greatest judge but I like your stuff.
I like your style of writing and I think it works here, the only slight oddity I see is that the formatting in places has gone a bit off with paragraph gaps.
