wow - thanks for reading this! :D

um, yes i can speak Japanese a little - but i can't write the language at all. This was all done with translation machines, i didn't write a word of it. I just pasted one translation into anaother machine and so. I was astonished that 'Moth line Tokyo' etc just came out of nowhere.

The reason is that Japanese characters have many meanings but often the same root (Leaf is unbelievably common) so when you shift from Romanji to Japanese the machine just makes it up! The English word Poem in English translates as Shi which means also City. City and Poem are the same thing - which is also a joke in Ergo Proxy.

The pictures are of Re-1 or 'Real' from Ergo Proxy a manga cartoon series dealing with the self and how it is constructed (Sounds pretensious? well it is a bit but...) it's an incredible show.
