a piece of ice

[wytchcroft]

ice connects us
my blistered fingers hold the fracture
all we are 
as water
fossils
deep within the complex geography
the lines that draw the map
the points of origin
the points between us
and lifted up the light spreads
wide and multicoloured
like a cloak
fit for dreamers.
