I know how hard it can get sometimes to feel confident in your own writing (I've certainly been having many ups and downs with mine) so I'm glad my words help. :-)
Keep with it! Let the story type itself when it feels like your brain's running away with your fingers and give it a prod and a stern talking to when the words stubbornly refuse to come.
I keep surprising myself with my story. I only just found out in today's writing that one of the characters I found a spark with early on, but who was starting not to fit in the actual story, is the stepson of someone who's gradually become a main character.
