and an eye so wide and space dark
i can see the tracks of the stars
all the glistening vapours
of a jet serenade
dancing as the rockets go past
asteroids and satellites
spinning axis and atmospheres
re-entry co-ordinates
the astronauts song
the heavens open
in the eye that i gaze upon
so wide and space dark
waiting for that Holy spark
that comes from the heart
awaiting on that one bright spark
that comes from the heart.
