:)))

have you seen Epitaph One, the 13th episode? It opens up a whole can of the great and strange.

Yes Dollhouse really had me hooked by the end and Alan was sooo good, really Amy and he just OWNED the finale:))

But I quite like Ballard for his understatement although i think season 2 will show that off a bit better when he interacts more with Adelle and Topher who, like Alan, are more fans of the BIG when it comes to their performances.
I certainly didn't mind Eliza but i do prefer a crew, y'know?
Oh and November was very sweet.

Yes, November/Mellie was adorable, and she's going to be in the second season! I wonder how, is she going to be the one who steps in and saves the day when all is looking doomed for our heroes? I love those moments, the forgotten character comes back. And you are right about Ballard, it will be good to see him with some of the more flamboyant characters - him with Alan's character, when he had the identity of the agoraphobic potsmoking designer, was awesomely funny - just the walk down the terrifying stairs-without-risers, I could watch and watch.

I'm interested to see Ballard and November (gah, I can't remember her actual name) get reacquainted, with the uncomfortable knowledge that they've had this relationship that she doesn't remember, that he had sex with her after he knew she was a Doll and just following a program...and about her, I don't understand in what fashion she goes back to her life now. Where do her family and friends think she's been? If she entered the Dollhouse because she lost a child, won't she be just as heartbroken to "wake up" and remember what happened, as she was years ago when it happened? Or, does the Dollhouse manufacture the gradual emotional healing she might have gone through anyway? How can she not be, how can anyone of them not be in exactly the same emotional reality they were in when they signed up? What about family, friends, acquaintances, colleagues...how do you explain disappearing for 5 years, and not even sending a text message? Maybe the Dollhouse has a text-bot who keeps up with the Dolls' families - maybe that's the real purpose of facebook :)

OMG! you could be right! FaceBook are SO busted!LOL!:))
yes, the messy life outside the house, Mellie - where will she go?

i can't help wondering about Ballard's wife and child and supposed 'life' - in the jossverse these things always come out into the open eventually..

so many questions... Alpha had a lot of Topher's body language and tics i thought, and Ballard changing direction (it was lovely how he out grew the 'white knight' thing) once he was in the House - what if he was programmed too?!?!

that's all a bit Bladerunner but still - 'he was looking for Caroline but now he must search for himself' has season 3 tag line all over it, ha ha!

i liked his partner at the FBI (not a very convincing FBI i have to say) so i hope we'll see more of her.

i noticce in recent interviews that Joss is talking about spending time exploring Boyd and why he is where he is...

this is cool coz i like Boyd, especially when partnered with Ballard and not doing the flawed daddy (Watcher-style) bit with Eliza which is kinda old.

but they'll have go some to avoid the cop with a wounded past cliche - different with Ballard, i mean maybe Paul's a doll right?...
