Ah sorry, no i am not Russian - just a Brit stumbling around, ha ha!:)
i'm glad to have met you too? would it be ok to add you as a 'friend'?
Stoshgovnozad, yes (oh i am so lucky she is on lj! a wonderful person!)- she outlined the general idea to me - and i think she has a story in the book too?
i didn't realise the concept actually started with one person (is that correct?) although i saw a link to chingizid's lj, i didn't fully understand or remember the entry (i thought they were an editor like my friends at 'Drops of Crimson' journal).
i do know that others have written of the Babylon Dutch, at least Katrend has - but i haven't read her stories, although i would love to!
a synopsis would be great - but probably boring for you to do, i don't mind struggling to attempt to read the Russian, you are right that i would miss a great deal but it would be good practice and it is interesting sometimes what (as an outsider) i can see 'between the lines' so to speak. i leave the chice to you:)
i don't consider myself an author, no, nothing of the sort. but it is more than a hobby, i mean - i can think and speak and explore ideas and feelings much better through fiction than talking or commenting (and feel much less awkward or pretensious!) but - the 'quality' of the writing? Absolute pancake more than likely.
thanks again for talking to me, and letting me chatter on. Good luck with all your writings:))
