No, truly! I loved it- it was very exciting- and I have to tell you again, I am so impressed with the quality of characterization you give the female protagonist- or antagonist, whichever it is!
When I am able to feel for the character or I like her and can relate to her in some, way, it really enhances the story for me- you succeeded here quite well!
