Wow whee... terrific... The ending is quite...um... disconcerting... I mean, frightening... I could almost hear Falk whispering that last "for you..." at the end... ooh, gave me chills! And I loved these lines..."I enjoyed the tales of Sharkey a good deal – but they unsettled me also. Gazing out into the dusk pinked horizon from the prow of my ship I began to realise the uncomfortable truth that, like Sharkey, I was being pursued." That is a real grabber- and doesn't let go! Well done, my friend! I started actually reading this like a prose poem... the feelings and emotions and imagery you created were spot on! :)
