fic'al... sounds about right! but as for Mal, not directly but i can think of two FF fics (the one on Mr Universe's moon and a later one called Spiritual, i think) i did that were under the influence of Turn of the Screw (and Sarah Water's Affinity also). If i was gonna do it, i did think of a 'dying Inara' story that could parallel Wings of a Dove somewhat...
but no, i just wrote a ton of stuff with the actual James characters, but luckily not under my wytchcroft banner. phew!
