for regina

a shrug of the shoulders
all the weight of the world
the smallest pressure
where the tongue takes the weight
of a coin

that tongue has licked her mother's eyes

what strange communion
come wind blow fine
peering out from under lashes
through the window and the grime
let the weather take the washing line

in time there will be leaves
old dresses, the fruit and its rind

chores chores
she's a devil in the morning
with her feet upon the back porch
and her knuckles on the pump

and her wild eyes glancing
at the flat line of the sky
let the weather take the washing line

all these clothes
the wind could blow
dancing like children
to a mother's nursery rhyme
peering out from under lashes
the years between the window and the grime

the devil take this washing line.

For me?!
Oh, it's wonderful, Nic... I love it.
This is like an answer to my poem this morning... "she's a devil in the devil in the morning..."- nice, very nice...
You know me too well, my friend.
Thank you- from the bottom of my heart...
*hugs*

I know the song, which is similar to the meaning of your poems)

What a beautiful expanse swallowed the sky -
Clouds as a loving - pressed to the ground!
Where you and I have a simple roof
- looking of the warm...

What the wind answer to this?
Running and broken a wing.
And he falling between,
He broke the embrace -
as a glass.

We stood on the past, we waited for the new.
Clinging to the wall where they disappeared.
Where - one life arose and the one death too
Pair of outbreaks of fire in these troubled days...

What the wind can - answer to me?
Running past us.
and broken a wing. Us.
And it - falling between,
He broke the embrace as a glass.

Very nice. Some people suck at poetry, and you are 100% NOT one of those people. :)
