1. Week of Space - yes, this week is the week to celebrate neil armstrong's boots and a game of golf among the stars. Or conspiracy theories if you prefer - but they begin with C.
2. Whatever - Aimee Mann's first solo album and, though i much prefer her indie releases since she left Geffen, it has plenty of good songs including 4th of July; 'a waste of gunpowder and sky', which are just a tad overwhelming.
3. Water - can't swim but i do a mean splash!
4. What the Thunder said - a piece of The Wasteland by TS Elliott and one that haunts me still... i was once with a lover and in the middle of a storm except for the EXACT spot where we were standing, a perfect circle of sunlight as all about the half hysterical lightning scraped at the world and the thunder boomed like, like... well… if i had that figured the poem wouldn't haunt me i guess... but we sat for an age it seemed, just sat in the miracle sunlight and listened and listened and listen begins with L and so does Lightning and so does Lover and so does L-

6. Wonky - what, uh, errgh, i mean, whoa - like, uh, can't you just, well, y'know, see above, i'm kinda occupied here - ooo...
7. W is 2 x V =VV = Alison Mosshart from the Kills, the Dead Weather and Discount. She's great and gets exactly the same dumb-ass press that Patti Smith caught in the 70s.
8. WTF?! Second only to 'For Fuck's Sake!' as my expletive of choice.
9. William Burroughs - ah, Uncle Bill... he took a dim view of the Luna landing and the space race in general figuring it was off track and that the ideal should be to evolve into space adapted people, rockets were simply 'going to Sea in an aqua-lung'. Well, that's a debatable view for sure! But... he was on the money when it came to McDonald-Douglas. McDonald-Douglas begins with M which is an upside down W and therefore satanic, clearly.
